Day 22: A picture that confuses you
I really didn't know what to do on this one, so I just googled "funny confusing pictures." I thought this one was pretty good!
Day 23: A picture of someone you've been the closest with the longest
I've definitely been the closest to my sisters the longest!! They've been with me through thick and thin, even when I was a stupid teenager! Love them!! They were a BIG help this weekend!

I hope everyone had a good Christmas. I'm sorry I didn't blog yesterday... it was a shitty day to be quite honest. Just to bring everyone up to speed. Kelly had 2 seizures yesterday early morning. The first one happened around 1:50 AM, I woke up to it happening. I don't really remember a lot of it, but apparently I was able to grab my glasses, pajama pants, call Erica twice and search for Joe's number to call him for help. They both rushed up to help me, I was too emotional to do anything really. Before Kelly could come to, we made the decision to call 911 to get some help. Kelly came to just as the paramedics arrived. They recommended taking him into the ER and offered me a ride along with them. We weren't there for long. Kelly was feeling good and the doctor just recommended that we contact our Neurologist on Monday for further testing. Amazingly enough, we were in and out of the ER in less then 2 hours.
Both Kelly and I were really emotional and finally went back to sleep around 5 AM only for m to wake up to him having another seizure at around 6 AM. Erica rushed up again to help out, contact emergency inquiring if we should call 911 again, which was recommended. The exact same paramedics came back to pick Kelly up and take him back to the ER, where we stayed until about 11 AM. The doctor we dealt with this time suggested we get him started on medication which strongly agreed with. We've made an appointment to see our Neurologist, next Tuesday so Kelly will be out of work all this week. Hopefully with him now on medication, he'll be back to work next week with the doctors approval. Thankfully his boss is very understanding and is giving him the time off.
It was a very hard thing to witness, especially twice in one night. Props to those who go through this stuff daily. I don't think I could handle it anymore. Seeing someone I love in pain and completely out of it. He would stare at me and wouldn't be there. Like he was staring right through me. It was really hard to sleep last night, because every time Kelly would move or make a noise I would freak out thinking that something was going to happen.
A special shout out to Erica and Joe! Both were in a NyQuil coma, but were both able to help me control the situation. Erica came to pick us up from the ER after the first one, while Joe took care of the babies! Erica then helped me again after the second one and called 911 each time. I don't think I would have been able to make that call. THANK YOU BOTH for being there when I desperately needed you! Also to Kalie and Jesse. Since Erica wasn't feeling well, Kalie came to pick up the girls when we were at the ER the second time, since it was now morning. THANK YOU Kalie and the Jesse boys for taking care of our baby girls when we couldn't.
We are still overwhelmed with the love and support we are receiving from family and friends. We are so grateful to be surrounded by such amazing people. I know that with you guys by our side, we'll be able to get through this, just like last time! I'm anxious for 2011 to get here! 2010 didn't end too well and I'm ready for it to be over!
I hope you all had a good Christmas!!
XOXO
