Wedding Traditions
Something Borrowed, Something Blue.
Something Old = A 1979 Penny & A 1986 Penny
--- When I worked at Ream's, I had a lot of spare time on my hands, only doing serious work for about 1 hr of my 8 hr shift. One day I was determined to find a 1979 (Kelly's birth year) and a 1986 (my birthy year) penny. I guess I just wanted to keep them for good luck. After I was able to find them, it didn't take long being that I worked in a grocery store, I took a hot glue gun and glued them together, the year sides facing out. At the time it was just something to occupy my time.. but I found it in my dresser drawer last night and decided that would be my "Something Old" I'll hide it in my bra or something.
Something New = My Dress
--- Everything I am wearing can classify as something new. But I figured the dress was the best answer.
Something Borrowed = One of Erica's Toe Rings
--- I already have all of my jewelry from my necklace to a bracelet and I really didn't want to wear another ring on my hands.. just the one. So we were thinking and Erica bought a lot of toe rings just recently so.. there we go! A cute little ring to show off my toes in my flip flop heels! (Which I will only be wearing for the ceremony, in which after I move on to flip flop slippers!)
Something Blue = My Garter
--- That's right! My Maid of Honor came thru on this one. She got me a really cute white garter with a blue bow. It also has pearls on it!! I love the pearls. There are on everything from the ring pillow, my cake, all the ladies jewelry and now the garter. Way to be Jessie!!
So there you have it...

Our Wedding!

It's Finally Here!!
I can not believe that it is already the end of May and that I'm getting married tomorrow! I mean I've been talking about it so much recently that I haven't really sat back and said, "You are getting married!" I think it finally hit me today. There are so many last minute details that we have to get done today because we won't have time tomorrow. Kelly and I are getting up early to have breakfast with my Mom and Kelly then off to the nail salon for my mom and me. After that I'm to head straight to my Mom's house to start preparations. Erica is being kind enough to do everyone's hair, even make up. She has even planned for reinforcements. Her friend Elizabeth is set to come and help. I don't know if I could have asked for a more helpful family. Everyone has been there for me and continues to amaze me with their love and support!
Everything again so far as moved forward without fail.. We did however run into a snag yesterday when we went to pick up the guys tuxedos. Unfortunately when Kelly tried his on, we came to find that the pants were about 2 inches to short. I mean it looks great if we were planning to say "I DO" in a pond or a flash flood. So that's a problem that we are going to have fixed today. We are also trying to get a hold of Mike, the best man, so that he can go with us to Men's Wearhouse and make sure his tux his okay. Let's cross our fingers for Kjell's tux, Kelly's father. He lives in Randolph, Utah and won't try on the tux until right before the ceremony! I'm trying to remain positive, which isn't easy being me. But Kelly and all of my family are helping.
Well there's more to come.. Lets just hope this last day runs by smoothly.

Bridals!
Okay here are some of my bridal pictures.. again some of my favorites. It was SO MUCH FUN! Lately I haven't been one to like getting all dressed with make-up on but we had a blast with my pictures. Erica and I practiced hair-dos the night before to see what we thought was going to look best. Both of us agreed that with my shoulders being so bare that my hair down looked really good. Plus, we were able to see how my hair lasted in the curls because I want to do my hair down for the wedding day as well.( Kelly really likes my hair down :oP )
Engagement Photos!

Here are some of my favorite engagement photos! It was really hard to choose which one went out in the invites because there were so many, not to be vain but we had a ton of great shots. Kelly and I had a surprisingly easy time standing and posing for 2 hours, due to the fact that our photographer Dave is amazing. I mean how can you not have a good time when a man with a camera is screaming at you "NO FAKE SMILES!!" No but really, Dave is awesome to work with and he makes Kelly and I look really good.
